The First Four Ships
The Press ran a series of articles in January 2006 detailing research into the passengers of the first four ships to colonise Christchurch and Canterbury present in photographs taken in 1900 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of their arrival. Readers then provided a wealth of additional information and the combined material was published in a 32-page booklet. Those Guys was asked to provide a website containing the information in the booklet, and provide the public with an avenue to supply even more information.
